Lionel's Past: Part 2

What Happened to Lionel:
        Lionel was emotionally unstable for a short period during Freshman year. It wasn't really anything serious, just normal teenage angst. His parents were concerned for him, though, and found a psychiatrist for him to meet with. This psychiatrist was unnerved by many strange similarities between Lionel and her late father, a man who had verbally and physically abused her when she was growing up. This shrink, finding nothing "wrong" with Lionel, decided to get revenge on her father by making something wrong. After establishing a solid relationship with Lionel and gaining his trust, she began to introduce fears and desires to Lionel, in the hope that he would succumb to them and, eventually, become some kind of pantophobic freak. This did not occur, though he came to fear her and began to fear women as a whole. In addition of this form of mental manipulation, she also physically abused and molested him, after making him fear her. Lionel cannot remember this, but it is likely part of his fear of women.
        The flashes he sees of his past make him withdraw from everyone around him and start to hurriedly mumble to himself. If a woman approaches him while he is in this state, he will usually break down and cry on the spot, and will act as if he is very afraid of her, no matter whom she is. He also reaches this state after one of his retro-prophetic dreams, and can reach this state when a girl touches him. This phobic state he enters into really frustrates Lionel, as it can force him to act shyer than he really is and can embarrass him in front of a girl he likes or is trying to impress.
      Triggers of his phobic state include:
          -o-    Being touched by a woman
          -o-    Remembering details of his past (or trying to)
          -o-    Someone asking him about his fears
(That last one is part of why he dislikes psychiatrists)
        If Lionel is not frightened of a particular girl when in his phobic state, this means there is something special about her. Either the two are very close, he ardently wishes they were that close, or she has been very kind to him. There are other possibilities, too, but the reason is always a positive one; that he is not afraid of her is always a good thing.
       Lionel loves to read and write. He even manages to have fun arranging essays. He especially enjoys poetry and short stories. He also likes to draw, but is a tyro at this. Unbeknownst to him, his writings sometimes allude to the events that happened to him during the period he can't remember. His subconscious seems to be very actively engaged in informing him of what has happened, but he never sees any of the hints for what they are.
        Lionel can remember that he goes into a phobic state, but where the phobic state originated (he know the triggers, vaguely, but doesn't know what was done to him to create this phobic state).
        Lionel has the same schedule as Danae Rozencrantz. He also has Liberal Arts with Sapphire Ryo. So far, he has not adversely reacted to either of them, partly because his phobic state hasn't surfaced yet.
        Lionel will never willingly see a psychiatrist, especially if the psychiatrist is a woman.
        Lionel is completely pacifistic. The only case when he would consider violence is to defend others. (Unless, of course, he gets really, really pissed off. Which almost never happens.) Oddly, he is not squeamish about blood or gore, despite his pacifism.
        Usually when Lionel gets angry, he becomes very quiet, speaking only in whispers; he is more likely to be loud when he is excited about something rather than angry about it. If Lionel ever reaches a point that he is so angry he becomes violent, the only way to stop him is to somehow reduce him to his phobic state.
        Lionel has mysterious marks on his cheeks and palms. These are mysterious because it is clear that they are neither scars nor birthmarks.
Lionel is left-handed. He is 6 feet tall, husky, has gray eyes that look either bluish or greenish depending on the light, and ash blond hair. This hair is peculiar. It looks black when wet, but is golden in sunlight; in direct sunlight, it is resplendent. In artificial light it is a dark blond with natural, golden highlights. He wears longish hair that reaches down his neck but not all the way to his shoulders, and has rather pronounced sideburns, which reach down on either side to barely past the ear and are quite bushy. His facial hair (Yes, he has facial hair. Astounding, isn't it?) is a reddish blond that is similarly dark, but the red is quite visible at all times. He wears a petite moustache and a soul patch/mini-goatee thing.
        Lionel has somewhat of an aversion to direct sunlight.
        Lionel likes rock music. In fact, he likes most music, except for the heavier heavy metal and gangsta rap.
        Lionel is very rarely surprised. When things like doors slamming or opening happen, he doesn't instinctively react. When people appear out of nowhere, he doesn't jump in surprise, but usually just says something like, "What took you so long?" On the rare occasions that he is startled, he still doesn't jump out of his seat or the like; he merely displays a look of modest surprise and might let out a little squeak.
        Lionel has hurt himself before; if people make jokes about "wrist-cutting", "emos", etc. around him, he will become angry. Not irate, just angry. Meaning that he will get very quiet if this happens.
        Lionel doesn't like large crowds.
        Lionel prefers darker colors. His favorites are black, blood red, gray, and midnight blue.
        Lionel's accent is elusive; it sounds like a "neutral", midland accent, and he is very precise in his pronunciation. Something seems a little off about it, though; this may be due to the fact that he was raised in California but has a midland accent.
        Lionel constantly wears a black jacket. Every part of the jacket (the outer fabric, the inner lining, zippers, buttons, the insides of the pockets, cuffs, collar, hood, labels, tassels) is black. There are no logos on the jacket; it is waterproof, and there is hood hidden in a pouch at the collar. There are many pockets throughout the jacket: over a dozen in all; there are cute little tassels on the zippers. The way the jacket clings to him, it looks so natural that an observer can tell almost immediately that he is reluctant to remove it.
        Lionel's notebook is almost constantly on his person. The book is leather-bound; the leather is a rusty, reddish-brown color. There are two or three clasps holding the book shut, which are slightly darker in color than the leather. Inside the notebook, the pages look like parchment, and are all unlined, so they can be used for either writing or drawing. Built into the leather are slots for various tools of the trade; Lionel keeps a pencil, pen, and eraser in them.
        Lionel also has a favorite pen that he often toys with. It is a steel fountain pen, tinted a deep, blood red. It is modified to allow it to be used with a number of different cartridges or with an inkwell. The workmanship of the pen is.... daedal, to say the least.
